How to Re-Purpose a Blog Post

Let’s say you have started a Blog which is tied to your website. Great first step!  Now, you can re-purpose a blog post to turn it into multiple products. If you don’t have a Blog, consider Re-Purposing an article or website copy. Why? It will help to tie all your efforts together thru cross-links, save lots of time AND boost your website traffic. How? Re-purposing : Begin with a Post on your Blog; then ADD "a twist here; a tweak there and you’ve got several new projects completed." Let’s take a glimpse at just some of your options:

Google SEO – Tight IS Right

‘Farmer’ Algorithm Update: Ezine Articles slapped too?

Even Ezine Articles is vulnerable to Google tightening.  Are you?  Just after the major “corrections”, I posted my SEO View of Latest Google Update.  I’m addressing a reader’s comment because it warrants an update.

Nick commented: Ezine Articles was hit really bad by this update. I heard that their traffic went down massively.”

Yes, it is so true. Twice. The Panda Google Algorithm update hit many website URLs hard in February; then again in April 2011.

Ezine Articles included. It is estimated that Ezine Articles lost 35% of their traffic.

It is this blogger’s understanding that they are fighting back by tightening up and making modifications to their parameters including:

Buying Local Media Air-Time Yourself?

The Media Mix
had a call this morning from a gentleman name DJ. He’s located in a small town in Alabama. He was on our website www.themediamix.com and wanted to talk with me. He said he might want to buy air time on NBC and could I tell him 5 – 10 steps about how to go about buying TV media himself.

I told him that for local media, he could call a station or cable network directly and ask for the Sales Department. They would assign an Account Executive who would be glad to come out and get him set up with media time.

Kloutless Influential Topic on Klout.com?

Can Mark Eisner be Influential for topic Kloutless?

So, what’s your take on Klout scores?

On Facebook and Twitter recently Klout has been getting lots of discussion. Mark Eisner of Advanced Land & Water is a small business owner trying to use more Social Media techniques to strengthen his internet presence.  And a fine job he’s doing at it, I might say.  Go Mark!  But even with a high Klout score of 55, he remains Kloutless with no Influential topics at all.  What’s up with that?

Email Marketing Campaigns: Stop Email Overkill

Sending too many emails will get you un-subscribed …. or un-read.

Now, let me elaborate.   I just spent over an hour Unsubscribing to Email Marketers who abuse the auto responder system.  After months of being overwhelmed daily by Internet Marketing Tips, Tricks, Schemes and Scams,  I’ve had it.  And I’m not alone.

New Internet Marketers say their biggest problem is Information Overload.
Anyone sending daily (or more) emails for months is just adding to the problem and should re-think their email marketing strategy…

Blog Commenting Policy

Blog Comments Policy Announcement

Notice: SEO Saturday will be held this week since it was interrupted last week by the need for a blog announcement. Stop by! Blog Commenting Policy Announcement

SEO View of Latest Google Update

All the talk in the past few days about the powerful “correction” Google has just made has brought me out of my temporary hibernation.

The latest change in the Google algorithm (Panda) is being called the Farmer update and it’s major.  Major as in it has a lot of folks in a tizzy.  It is said to have had major affects on 12% of search results and has plummeted many websites traffic visitor numbers in half.
